A Studio Without Walls
Culebra Yoga has evolved to include a studio. With wooden double doors opening on all sides to breathtaking ocean views, we still like to label this as a studio without walls. Reconnect yourself to nature as you hear the sound of waves, wind rustling the palms, and birds chirping. Breathe deeply to let go of the stress and anxiety of daily life. Join us on an island retreat, see the weekly class schedule or contact Culebra Yoga to book a private yoga session. Namaste.
Our Teachers
Claire Fallon E-RYT 200
Registered Children's Yoga Teacher
Claire grew up in Hawaii running up and down the beaches laughing and dancing. Beginning with Hawaii’s sacred hula, she has gone on to study a wide variety of dance forms including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contact improvisation, and West African dancing. She has studied yoga in Hawaii, India, New York, Philadelphia, and Todos Santos in Baja Mexico Sur. She is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher and has earned her teaching certification of 200 hours in Hatha Yoga with Iyengar alignment from Yandara Yoga Institute in Todos Santos, Mexico. She is trained in the techniques of yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, kirtan, anatomy & physiology, yogic philosophy, as well as ethics and life-style. She has taught yoga in Philadelphia since 2008, until moving to Puerto Rico in December 2010 to open her own studio, Culebra Yoga. Claire has taught yoga in schools since the fall of 2011. She is inspired by the honest playfulness of children.
Claire finds the path of teaching to be most challenging and rewarding. The classes are about sharing the gifts of this sacred practice and guiding students towards wholeness, self-awareness, joy, & compassion both on and off the mat. Her classes are meditative and inspiring. They emphasize healing, transformation, openness and gratitude. From children to wise elders, rubber-band people to those with no flexibility at all, she believes that yoga should be available to everyone. Her classes reflect this philosophy.
Yoga is about accepting yourself just as you are in this moment. Whatever manifestation of each asana that is available to you right now, is the perfect pose that brings you all of the benefits of the practice.

Sara Bowman YT-500
Sara took her first yoga class 12 years ago and instantly fell in love. By 2004 she was ready to immerse herself in the lifestyle and moved to Colorado to live the SGRY yoga community. Over the next 3 years she studied asana, meditation, pranayama, sacred art, yogic philosophy, and Ayurvedic practices while completing a 500 hour level training with the Shambhava School of Yoga. Sara is from Bloomsburg, PA, where she started Bloomsburg Yoga to share the gifts of the practice through regular group classes, private sessions and workshops.
Inspired by the workings of the human body & mind, and how a few deep breaths can change everything, she is constantly seeking out new training and workshops with master teachers around the country to continue her studies in various yoga traditions including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, and Kundalini. Wishing to dive even deeper into the world of Wellness, she completed a year long program in Life Coaching from the Mt. Nittany School of Natural Health in Life Coaching in 2010. She draws from all of these experiences to create classes that are unique to the feeling of the day and that will best serve the amazing people practicing at any given moment. Sara's classes emphasize our connection with our breath, feeling how each pose works in your body, awareness of how tension is held and can be released to create spaciousness in body and mind, and healthy alignment to keep our bodies strong & fluid. She is grateful for every practice, every day, and every breath.
